“Be strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.”

~ Misty Copeland

Hi I’m Cori!

Hey there, I’m Corinne, most people call me Cori. I am a counselor by training with experience as a high school counselor and a mental health counselor, working with adults and teens. I am also an RRCA certified running coach, and a big believer in movement as therapy!

Most days you can find me caring for my family, which includes three teenagers, three rescue dogs, and my veterinarian husband, but my day gig is counseling and coaching.

My passion is helping teens move through what is keeping them stuck to find their strength and live a life of connection and purpose.

That all sounds really nice, right? The truth is, teens these days are facing more anxiety, depression, and insecurity than most adults really understand, so it’s not as neat and tidy as that simple sentence might sound.

However, it is still absolutely possible. Where there is a willingness to do the work and the right type of support, mixed in with tons of love and patience, there is absolutely hope. I find it a gift to be able to support teens to uncover the strength they may not have found otherwise.

My background and training include:

MS, Counseling and Counselor Education

National Certified Counselor

Licensed School Counselor

ScreamFree Parenting Certified Coach

The Self-Centered Marriage Certified Coach

RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Certified Running Coach

Advanced Training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment) Therapy

what I believe in

think

What we tell ourselves becomes our truth, and that truth can hurt and create separateness, or it can heal and empower. And the most wonderful part? We are in charge, and change is always at our fingertips.

move

Movement can be therapeutic. While I don’t always recommend activity as a part of my work, I firmly believe in the power of fitness to change our mental health, our outlook, and our confidence. And no, that doesn’t always mean running, even if it’s MY soulmate workout.

love

We are born to love and be loved. And: family doesn’t always mean blood. You deserve to feel respected, unconditionally loved, and celebrated for your unique gifts and treasures…and to help others feel all those feels, too.

These are a few of my favorite things
My family, music, reading, running, dogs, and the mountains. All things outdoors.
Grand Teton National Park. That’s my girl, running up ahead.
THINK WE’RE A GREAT FIT?
